In this new map, I was successful in mapping D2 to D1 that worked (triggered the AD2 snare), but I couldn’t get the others mapped for some reason (as if the mute doesn’t resolve mapping conflicts). I’ve tried creating a completely new drum map, muting all instruments except the 8 pads/controllers for the TD4s kit.

I confirmed in MidiOX that the TD4s snare pad generates a D2 note (see image, right-side, last line). The Cubase DRM (in Drum Map Setup) has D2 in the I-Note (Input) column and D1 in the O-Note (Output) column (see image, center). Here’s a simple example (refer to the screen cap below) I pull it up now and nothing is mapped properly anymore.ĭrum Instrument (midi input): Roland TD4s Notes started to look like drums but mapping was still wrong.Problem: I created a drum map a couple of months ago that worked then. , not in drum notation ie Hihat/Snare/.). So converted instrument (via staff properties) to drum, saved it to MIDI and reopen it (because it was still in notes scale, ie C3/D6/.

I guess there some mapping in ADD itself bacause you can select different scheme and it will export to beats different notes but i did not find suitable mapping - ADD has a huge amount of variation of each drum inside own library and each one of them coded via midi note. So as far, i was able to drag and drop beat to musescore and it come like this: However it's export is realy tricky - it does store notes, but the format of ADD midi mapping is suitable only for it's own purpose.

ADD2 has a huge library of beats that is a true gem for learning musician.
